​Thomson, Johnstone return to leadership roles at Bluewater District School Board

There are no changes in leadership at the Bluewater District School Board, following annual elections at the initial meeting of the board, Tuesday (Nov. 19).

For a fifth consecutive one-year term, Jane Thomson, trustee for the Town of South Bruce Peninsula and Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, will serve as chairperson after being elected to the position.

Acclaimed as vice-chairperson, is Jan Johnstone, trustee for the Municipality of Kincardine and Township of Huron-Kinloss, who will serve in the position for a fifth straight one-year term.

Congratulations to both ladies as they return to their executive roles with the board of trustees. The board appreciates their steadfast commitment and years of vast experience and strong leadership in supporting success and well-being for all school board students.
