Ripley Lions appreciate Bruce Power donation to Christmas hamper program
The Ripley and District Lions Club appreciates Bruce Power’s $2,000 donation toward the Christmas hamper program.
Dwight Irwin, manager of community relations, presented the cheque to chairman John Kelly, president Rob Miller, secretary Ken Stanley and long-time helper Ann Miller.
Many social groups and individuals have already given generously to this program again this year.
Due to the current postal strike, cheques can be dropped off at Larry Irwin's home in Ripley or at John Kelly’s home in Point Clark or with any Lions member.
A reminder that the final day for enrollment through the appropriate channel, is Thursday, Nov. 28.
