Donation supports paramedic services in Bruce County
Bruce County Paramedic Services thank Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. for the generous donation of $1,000 to support paramedic services in the region.
Angela Freiburger presented the donation, Tuesday, to deputy chief of paramedic services, Raymond Lux.
These funds will be used toward new IV training arms that will help with the transition to new response equipment.
“Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. appreciates local first-responders and all they do to keep people safe,” said Freiburger. “Emergency services are such an important resource for our community.”
“Bruce County Paramedic Services are honoured that Marvin and Angela support our service every year,” said paramedic services chief Steve Schaus. “Their donation supports the community in such a meaningful way.”
The county paramedic services employ a staff of about 100 full-time and part-time paramedics who provide pre-hospital care to citizens and visitors of Bruce County. They respond to medical and trauma emergencies with a fleet of 13 ambulances and three supervisor units that serve, and can be deployed to, communities across the county.
