Battlers present $1,250 to Huron Shores Hospice
Keith and Linda Battler of Kincardine have presented $1,250 to Huron Shores Hospice.
This represents the final installment of his 2024 commitment to donate $250 per property listed to the hospice, continuing a tradition now in its fourth year.
This ongoing support is an expression of gratitude for the care and comfort Keith’s sister-in-law received as a guest of the hospice.
In 2023, the Battlers generously contributed more than $4,500 toward the hospice’s operating costs, bringing their total donations to more than $23,000 over the past four years. Their contributions for 2024 include a $1,250 installment presented in April and this final donation to close out the year.
Huron Shores Hospice provides quality end-of-life care, at no cost, to residents of Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas. Its vision is to create a world where end-of-life receives the same beauty, care and respect as the beginning, by creating moments that matter.
In addition to end-of-life care, Huron Shores Hospice provides free programs for Grief Recovery, End-of-Life Doula services, Death Cafes and End-of-Life Planning workshops. The hospice is a charitable, not-for-profit, volunteer-led, community-funded organization, located within Tiverton Park Manor.
