Tiverton Lions welcome more than 200 at annual seniors Christmas dinner

The Tiverton Lions Club welcomed about 220 people to the annual seniors Christmas dinner, held Friday, Dec. 4, at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre in Tiverton.

Club members and friends prepared and served the turkey dinner with all the trimmings, which was enjoyed by all.

Spencer Bristow, 21, of Durham, then took to the stage, performing as Elvis Presley and later, Johnny Cash, much to the delight of the audience.

The Tiverton Lions also honoured LeRoy and Marsha Leggett of Tiverton on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Dec. 4, 1965.
