Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh man killed in crash southeast of Goderich

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) -  A 21-year-old Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh man is dead, following an early morning car accident Friday.
 

Just before 8 a.m., Huron County OPP officers and Huron County EMS responded to the scene of a single-motor-vehicle crash located on Benmiller Line between Huron Road and Londesboro Road, southeast of Goderich.
 

The preliminary investigation has determined the driver a Honda Civic was travelling northbound on Benmiller Line when his vehicle entered a curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway, rolled and ended up on its side in the east ditch. 
 

The single male occupant died at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Zachary LAMB of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
 

Benmiller Line was closed for several hours but is now open for travel.

Huron County OPP and investigators from the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team continue to investigate the accident. Any person with information regarding this crash should immediately contact Huron OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or (519) 524-8314.
