Brooke Leppington achieves gold medalist status in figure skating

Nov. 28, Brooke Leppington became the latest in a group of elite figure skaters from the Ripley Skating Club, to achieve gold medalist status. 

Brooke successfully completed her gold skills test in Walkerton. This is her second gold test and she is currently working on her final gold dance test. 

A gold test is the highest level of test a figure skater can pass within Skate Canada's national standards. It takes many years and hours of training to achieve this milestone. 

Brooke, 18, is the daughter of Larry and Tanya Leppington of Huron-Kinloss. She is coached by Brenda Hill-McIntosh. Congratulations on becoming  a double-gold medalist!
