Officials investigate fire at site of July blaze in downtown Kincardine
Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and the South Bruce OPP were called to a fire early Sunday morning at the former offices of Century 21 and CRG Energy, on Durham Market South in downtown Kincardine.

This site and the adjacent laundromat suffered severe damage in a fire back in July, 2024.

Durham Market South, from Princes Street to the Pet Valu store, was closed beginning at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, and would remain closed until officials had completed their investigation into the fire.

Kincardine fire chief Guy Gallant said firefighters from the Kincardine and Tiverton fire stations were dispatched at 3:11 a.m., Sunday, with assistance from the Ripley-Huron Fire Department.

The crews arrived to find a significant fire in the building. Once the blaze was extinguished, heavy equipment was brought in to remove material at the back of the building to make the site safe for investigators, said Gallant.
