Patricia Holder won $3,225 in the Catch the Ace draw. She selected Envelope No. 24 which contained the King of Hearts. There are still 29 envelopes remaining, and the jackpot should grow to an estimated $70,000 for next week. Remember, anytime you would like to see which envelopes are remaining, you can just head over to KincardineAce.com and click on “Purchase Tickets.” From there, you can have a look at which numbers are still active. If it has $5 under it, that envelope is still unopened. Don't miss out on your chance to win; be sure to pick up your Catch the Ace tickets.

At the Saturday Meat Draw, Doris Shaw was not only a meat winner, but she also took home the prize in the 50/50 Draw. Scott Allen was the double-dipper. Congratulations to all the winners!

Saturday, Jan. 18, Branch 183 hosted the Zone Euchre Tournament to a full slate of 176 players. Everyone had a great time with some wonderful conversation, camaraderie and competition. In the end, a team from the Branch 218, Brussels Legion, finished first. Congratulations to Bob Richardson, Cam Ross, Eric Ross and Barry Okrafka. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Some of our Branch 183 dart players competed in Hespeler, Jan. 11. Steve Musselman, Derek Farr, Dan VanDerVeeken and Terri Hogsden represented our branch and all had a great time. Regular darts singles players Steve and Dan will be playing in Elora, Feb. 8, as will doubles Steve and Terri, and Dan and Keith Sr. Good luck to everyone!

In other sports news, our Branch 183 Under-13 hockey team was the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick winner. The team has advanced to the International Silver Stick at the end of January. Good luck!
