​Tom Ayers of Kincardine dies at the age of 45

Thomas Martin Ayers died, unexpectedly, at home in Kincardine, Monday, Jan. 27, 2025 at the age of 45.

Beloved son of Laurie Ayers (nee Macaulay) and the late Edward Ayers.

Best big brother of Mindy Ayers, and uncle of Christopher Longmire and Dustin Longmire.

Fondly remembered by family, friends and co-workers.

Thomas was known by most as Tom. His sarcastic and witty attitude is what drew people to him. He loved to make people laugh.

He enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer: card games with friends, bonfires and naps. He loved punk music by NOFX.

As a hockey fan, Tom cheered on his team, the Colorado Avalanche. A gamer at heart, he was also a big fan of Comic-Con.

He will be remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Tom’s life will take place at a later date.
