​Presbyterian Church moderator preaching at Knox in Kincardine, March 2

Rev. Dr. Pat Dutcher-Walls (above), moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, will be the guest preacher at Knox Kincardine, Sunday, March 2.

Many will be familiar with her name, since the current minister at Knox Kincardine, Rev. Dan West, and retired minister, Rev. Kathy Fraser, have spoken of her, having been privileged to have her as their professor of Hebrew Scriptures at Knox College.

Awarded the title professor emerita in 2024, Dutcher-Walls was professor of Hebrew Scriptures at the Vancouver School of Theology, where she also served as dean of studies and co-ordinator of doctoral programs.

She has also written “Reading the Historical Books: A Student’s Guide to Engaging the Biblical Text.”

Dutcher-Walls will be visiting with people at a reception, following the church service.
