​Six candidates running for position of Huron-Bruce MPP in provincial election
Incumbent Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson of the Progressive Conservatives is facing five other candidates in the Feb. 27 provincial election.

Joining her on the ballot, are Ian Burbidge of the Liberals, Nick McGregor of the New Democratic Party (NDP), Matthew Van Ankum of the Green Party, Zack Weiler of the New Blue Party, and Bruce Eisen of the Alliance Party.

In Kincardine, the electorate can vote on Election Day, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with three locations available, depending on where you live: the Davidson Centre, Kincardine Legion or the municipal administrative office on Concession 5.

Early voting is available, until Feb. 26 at 6 p.m., at the Huron-Bruce Election Office, 800 Sports Dr., Brussels, Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m,. and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.

Advance polls run Feb. 20-22, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the following nearby locations: Davidson Centre in Kincardine, Goderich Columbus Centre, Port Elgin United Church, and Royal Canadian Legion in Walkerton; as well as in Wingham, Clinton and Exeter.
