Huron-Kinloss resident charged with theft

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - Feb. 11, at 4:19 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at an address along Walter Street in Lucknow.

Investigation revealed the theft of a number of items from a maintenance room on the property, with the accused attempting to cover up surveillance cameras at the location.

As a result of the investigation, Jordan SLADE, 36, of Huron-Kinloss has been charged with:
 

• Theft under $5,000, CC 334(b)
• Break & enter, CC 348(1)(b)
• Fail to comply with probation, CC 733.1(1) - two counts

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and later released, to reappear in the Walkerton Court of Justice, Feb. 26, to answer to the charges.
