Ripley Lions donate $7,500 toward ultrasound at Ripley Medical Centre
The Ripley and District Lions Club has donated $7,500 toward the purchase of a Clarius (Canadian-made) point-of-care ultrasound machine to enhance patient care at the Ripley Medical Centre.

The donation was made in memory of Ripley Lions Ronnie Nicholson, Wally Pollock and Doug Coultes.

Dr. Jason Murray offered appreciation from the physicians and staff at the medical centre, for this generous support of health care in the community.

On hand for the presentation, were Ripley Lions Mike Pollock, John Elliott, John Kelly and Murray Yungblut.

A memorial plaque will be placed in the reception area of the medical centre in honour of this donation. An open house will be held once the ultrasound machine arrives to educate the public on some of the capabilities of the machine.
