Catholic school board invites public input on 2025-26 budget
The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is calling on students, parents, staff, and community members to help shape the future of Catholic education by sharing their thoughts about the development of the 2025-26 budget.
The board of trustees and senior administration are committed to listening to the voices of students, families, staff, partners, and Catholic school supporters to ensure that every decision they make reflects the needs and priorities of the community.
“As we craft our budget for the coming academic year, we see it as more than just numbers — it’s a blueprint for opportunity, innovation, and student success,” said Alecia Lantz, executive superintendent of business and treasurer.
“This public consultation is a shared commitment to excellence. Your input serves as a guiding force, ensuring that every dollar invested is a step toward unlocking the limitless potential of our students. Together, we can create a budget that not only sustains but elevates our mission of Catholic education.”
The insights gathered will be carefully reviewed by the board’s audit committee, business committee, board of trustees, and senior administration throughout the budget planning process.

All community members are urged to join the conversation through ThoughtExchange, an anonymous, interactive platform where you can share your ideas and see what matters most to others.
Share your input by Friday, March 28. Visit
