University student helps clear snow around fire hydrants in Kincardine
William Fiegehen (above) was busy this week, helping dig out the snow surrounding fire hydrants in the Town of Kincardine.
A Grade 12 graduate of Kincardine District Senior School in 2023, William is going to university in Windsor and, with road closures and the wild winter weather in the area last week, his trip to Kincardine was delayed.
However, he finally arrived and as of Feb. 21, began working with Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services, clearing snow from around fire hydrants.
This volunteer work has the potential to save lives, and residents appreciate his act of kindness.
