Speaker event at Walker House, Kincardine, postponed to March 8
The speaker event, “Huron Disasters,” featuring local historian and author, David Yates, at the Walker House Museum in Kincardine, has been postponed to Saturday, March 8, from 2-3:30 p.m.
Originally slated for today (March 1), it was re-scheduled due to the poor weather and road conditions.
Yates will present a fascinating exploration of the major disasters that have struck Huron and Bruce Counties. Through powerful stories, you can learn how these rural communities faced adversity without modern conveniences and how they rallied together to survive and rebuild.
Admission is by donation.
If you're already registered and would like to attend the new date, contact the Walker House at 519-396-1850 or by E-mail at
