Donna Topping of Kincardine remembered for her kindness, humour, and unwavering love
With grace, strength, and on her own terms, Donna Gail Topping (Davis) of Kincardine died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, March 7, 2025, at the Kincardine Hospital, after a brief, but courageous, battle with cancer. She was 75.
Born in Toronto in 1949, Donna was the cherished daughter of Alma Smith (Davis) and Frederick Davis; and beloved sister of Ron Davis (Janet).
She was the devoted wife of Allen Topping, whom she married May 30, 1970, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, family and travel.
A proud and caring mother, Donna’s greatest joy was her children, Andrea Leigh Snider (David) and Craig Allen Topping (Caitlan Simonian-Hays). Her love only grew as she became a doting grandmother to Olivia Pearl, Harlow Allen, Stella Lee, Samantha Lilian, and Shea Lila.
She was also a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Her faithful dog, Yeezy, remained by her side, a loyal companion through all of life’s moments.
Donna’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family. She deeply valued the bonds she shared with her brothers- and sisters-in-law, considering them not just family by marriage, but true family in heart. Her kindness, humour, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but the legacy of her warmth, wisdom, and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Kincardine Legion, Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 12-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Huron Shores Hospice or the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation; arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley;
