Students enjoy Christmas turkey dinner at Huron Heights
It took a lot of food and a lot of help to put together the annual Christmas turkey dinner at Huron Heights Public School, Kincardine, Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 15.
Co-ordinator Kate Richards said the Home and School Association volunteers cooked 19 turkeys, 100 pounds of potatoes, 14 kilograms of corn, and turned 18 loaves of bread into dressing, for the event, cooking everything in the Davidson Centre kitchen. The group then served the students and staff at two settings in the school gymnasium.
Richards offered appreciation to Sobeys Kincardine, B&W Appliances, and Jean's Family Restaurant, for their support of this meal.
