Kincardine Lions present donations to local organizations
Members of the Kincardine and District Lions Club were kept busy over the past week, making donations to four local organizations.
The first was March 7, when the Lions presented $500 to Wes Larson of Drop-In at the Bridge in downtown Kincardine.

March 12, the Lions presented $1,000 to the Kincardine Community Singers to assist in that group’s ongoing expenses.

March 13, the Lions presented $1,200 to the Kincardine Food Bank. This is the club’s annual donation for the “Grub Tubs in the Schools” program which the Lions have sponsored for more than 20 years.

And March 17, the Lions were at Kincardine District Senior School where they donated $960 to Special Olympics of Kincardine and Area to assist with registration for three athletes who are competing in the Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games in Brantford.
