South Bruce OPP to host Women in Policing event; and bridges re-open in Walkerton
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - The South Bruce OPP will be hosting a Women in Policing recruitment event, Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m., at the Paisley Community Centre.
The detachment will host an information session on our recruitment process, and address some of the perceived barriers that women may face when considering a career in policing.
In addition to the information session, there will be presentations from local female officers about their career paths and the various roles they have held within the OPP. The event will span approximately two hours.
The Paisley Community Centre is located at 391 Queen Street North in Paisley.

BRIDGES RE-OPENED IN WALKERTON
(BROCKTON, ON) - The South Bruce OPP is advising that the bridge closures in Walkerton, due to flooding, have concluded.
The Durham Street East bridge and the Yonge Street North bridge are both now open.
