​Nashville country star, Jordan Davis, to headline 2025 Lucknow’s Music in the Fields

Jordan Davis (above), multi-platinum, hit-making country music star of Nashville, will headline the 2025 Lucknow’s Music in the Fields, set for Aug. 21-25, at the Graceland Event Grounds.

The Lucknow Kinsmen Club announced the line-up, Friday, for the 17th annual three-day music festival which will feature a wide array of styles and eras, including homegrown stars Josh Ross, Tenille Townes (below), and Owen Riegling; Canadian rock icons Big Sugar; and blues-rock queen Sass Jordan.



“We’re incredibly excited to share this amazing line-up with members of our local community and devoted music fans from across North America,” says Rick McMurray, co-chairman of Lucknow’s Music in the Fields.

“Each year, we strive to build on the one before and deliver a diverse group of performers and programming that appeals to music fans of all ages and backgrounds. I think our team has elevated the experience for 2025 and we can’t wait to welcome you to Lucknow for another fun weekend full of great music and lasting community connections.”

The festival comprises high-impact musical performances across multiple stages, on-site camping, family-friendly games and activities, food and craft beverage vendors, and more, with 100 per cent of the proceeds supporting community and charitable initiatives. To date, more than $1.7-million has been donated back to the community.

The event was recently named among the "Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario" by Festivals and Events Ontario.

Saturday, Aug. 23, will see Davis headlining a diverse day of music that also features Townes as direct support, The Washboard Union, Big Sugar, Sacha, and Elton Lammie’s Country Kitchen Party which offers an opportunity for local singers to perform alongside a seasoned group of musicians.

A pair of fan-favourite festival veterans, Josh Ross (below) and Owen Riegling anchor the line-up for Friday, Aug. 22, with the legendary Sass Jordan supporting. Both Ross and Riegling are past winners of Lucknow’s Music in the Fields’ Emerging Artist Showdown, earning the title in 2017 and 2022, respectively.



Kicking off the festivities, Thursday, Aug. 21, are revered tribute artists, ABBA Revisited, and Alabama devotees, Mountain Music.
