Manzi Seilern of Kincardine remembered for his outpouring of love, affection, and heartfelt advice
Manuel “Manzi” Albrecht Seilern of Kincardine, died March 25, 2025, in his home, surrounded by the loving embrace of his family, at the age of 82.
Manzi lived a long and fruitful life as a dedicated husband, adoring father, gushing Opa, loyal friend, and encourager to everyone he met. Above all, he loved Jesus and never passed up an opportunity to share what He had done in his life.
Forever in the hearts of his beloved wife of 45 years, Andrea (née Spencer), his adoring children and their spouses, Esther, Mathias (Jenny), Timothy (Elizabeth), and Rachel (Tom Fawcett).
Manzi is the cherished Opa of 16 treasured grandchildren: Tyler; Ronan, Logan, Aurora, & Eleanor; Annabelle, Benjamin, Lucas, Daniel, and Caleb; Clementine, Theo, Juniper Eve, Boaz, Thaddeus, Asher, and one more on the way.
Lovingly remembered by his sister, Ingrid Szauter; sister-in-law, Lilliana; son-in-law, Kirk Jones; mother-in-law, Judith Spencer; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Ron Spencer, Jeff Spencer (Paula), and Kim Spencer; nephews and nieces, Danny, Timmy, and Rubin, Manuela, Dilaila, and Tania, Rebecca, Alisha, and Natasha, Beverly and Brian, Osiris, Norman and Ashton, Summer, Skyla, Cash and Cruz, and their families.
Predeceased by his parents, Emilie and Paul; and brothers, Peter and Thomas.
Manzi invested in countless lives, friends and strangers, alike, with his outpouring of love, affection, and heartfelt advice. His loss is deeply felt by many.
His life will be celebrated with a visitation, Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and a funeral, Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. Both will take place at the Lighthouse Fellowship Baptist Church, 83 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine.
