South Bruce OPP report domestic violence incident; and break-in
INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE RESULTS IN CHARGES
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - March 29, the South Bruce OPP investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
Investigation determined that a dispute between individuals led to an assault.
As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old individual of Cambridge has been charged with:
- Assault, CC 266
- Fail to comply with Probation Order, CC 733.1(1)
- Fail to comply with Release Order, CC 145(5)(a) - four counts
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.

VEHICLE SOUGHT BY POLICE AFTER BREAK-IN
(BROCKTON, ON) - March 29, at 9:51 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-and-enter at a rural property along Sideroad 20 North, Municipality of Brockton.
The owner of the property arrived while the break-in was still in progress. Three suspects then departed in a blue GMC pick-up truck with no licence plates, hauling a silver single-axle utility trailer.
The suspect vehicle struck the property owner's vehicle on departure and will have some degree of front-end damage. The vehicle was last seen travelling northbound toward Chesley.
Police encourage members of the public to report suspicious behaviour. Consider installing security cameras, additional lighting and/or alarms. If you already have security cameras, consider registering with the CAMSafe program at
