Kincardine closing facilities for staff training, May 1
Offices in the Municipality of Kincardine will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1, for a staff professional development training session.
A press release, issued Friday by the municipality, states that Investing in staff development enhances service quality. While a temporary closure may be an inconvenience, it ensures staff are well-trained, knowledgeable, and better equipped to assist the community.
The following will be closed:
- Municipal Administration Centre at 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine
- Davidson Centre administration offices at 601 Durham Street; all programming and activities will continue as scheduled; the indoor track, swimming lessons, and the health club will remain open; customer service inquiries for recreation may be directed to staff at the front desk at the Davidson Centre during this time
- Tiverton and District Sports Centre at 20 McLaren Street, Tiverton
- Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services administration office at 127 Mahood-Johnston Drive, Kincardine
- Underwood satellite office and community centre at 1240 Concession 6, Underwood
- Kincardine Waste Management Centre at 437 Sideroad 15, Armow
Facilities and programming will continue as regularly scheduled at 1:30 p.m., May 1.
