Huron County OPP report domestic violence incident; and mischief in Goderich
INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGE
(GODERICH, ON) - April 20, members of the Huron County OPP investigated a matter involving intimate partners in the Town of Goderich.
As a result of the investigation, OPP learned that the involved suspect had allegedly committed a criminal act against the partner.
A 42-year-old individual of South Bruce was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence: Mischief Under $5,000.
The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich, May 11.

MISCHIEF IN GODERICH RESULTS IN ARREST
(GODERICH, ON) - The Huron County OPP has charged an individual from Huron County, following an incident of mischief at a home under construction in the Town of Goderich.
April 20, Huron County OPP officers were contacted regarding damage to a home on Elgin Avenue East in Goderich. The investigation revealed that someone had thrown rocks at the building, causing approximately $1,000 in damage. The suspect was identified by police and arrested in the area of the crime.
Edward LABRECHE, 29, of no fixed address, has been charged with:
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was processed, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich, May 12.
