New Year's Day brings blowing and drifting snow to Kincardine area
2016 blew into the Kincardine area, with high wind and heavy snowfall, New Year's Day.
The windy, snowy, cold weather actually arrived New Year's Eve, causing havoc for revellers and motorists who rang in the new year, Thursday night.
By Friday morning, blowing and drifting snow was the order of the day.
It will warm up over the weekend, but continue windy, followed by a frosty cold Monday, but milder temperatures and sunshine return later in the week.
