Kincardine U13 girls competitive soccer team kicks off season with home-opener win
The Kincardine Under-13 (U13) girls competitive soccer team started the season on a high note with a victory in the home-opener against St. Columban, Tuesday (May 20).
The team showed incredible skill, teamwork, and determination in this first match of the season.
Taylin Taverner led the charge on the scoreboard, netting the team’s first goal of the season, while goalkeeper Naomi Jorgensen held strong between the posts to earn a shut-out. From solid defending to creative passing, every player contributed to an outstanding team performance.
The girls will continue to compete weekly through the end of August, bringing fast-paced, high-energy soccer to the pitch all summer long.
A huge thank you to the team’s sponsors: sunlit strategic, UBC Local 2222 Carpenters Union, and Refined Rejuvenation. Their generous support helps make this competitive program possible.
