(LAKE HURON, ON) - The South Bruce OPP continues to investigate, after a pick-up truck was pulled from Lake Huron, beside the north pier at Kincardine Harbour, Saturday afternoon.
Police and the Kincardine Fire Department were called to the scene at 9:03 a.m. Jan. 2, after receiving a report that a pick-up truck had entered the water of Lake Huron from the north pier at the Kincardine Harbour.
The truck was found, and shortly after 4 p.m., it was removed from the water. One male occupant was found inside and pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is being withheld, pending next-of-kin notification.
The South Bruce OPP is continuing to investigate, with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the Office of the Coroner.
