​Kincardine extends spring flushing of municipal water systems

The Municipality of Kincardine has extended the spring flushing of the fire hydrants and distribution system for the Town of Kincardine, the Huronville subdivision, and the pipeline to Inverhuron Provincial Park.

The work will continue, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., until June 30.

During this time, you may notice periods of water discolouration.

Reducing your water usage during flushing hours helps minimize the amount of sediment and discolouration introduced into your household system.

Cold water taps may need to be flushed for several minutes and screens or filters cleaned after distribution flushing has occurred.

Run taps until water clears prior to completing any laundry.
