​Bruce Power releases 2025 Sustainability Report, marking commitment to making positive impact

Bruce Power marked World Environment Day by releasing its 2025 Sustainability Report to highlight its unwavering commitment to being a responsible steward for people, communities, and the environment.

The report demonstrates how the proudly Canadian-owned company remains committed to strong values, environmental leadership, and community partnerships. Sustainability is embedded into Bruce Power’s business and remains a central driver in its mission to safely provide non-carbon emitting, affordable and reliable power, while also producing a stable supply of cancer-fighting medical isotopes.

The company is focused on securing tomorrow while strengthening its surrounding communities and protecting the environment.

The company’s sustainability program has been developed using industry best practices and global standards, focusing on four key areas: environment, people and safety, products and services, and community.

In its most recent assessment, Bruce Power achieved a favourable risk rating, maintaining a ‘Low Risk’ ESG Rating from leading third-party ESG rating agency, Morningstar Sustainalytics. The ESG Risk Rating combines an assessment of a company’s exposure to industry specific ESG issues and how well a company is managing those risks through suitable policies, programs, and initiatives.

Bruce Power’s commitment to environmental leadership, conservation, monitoring, and community engagement efforts was recognized with Gold Certification from the Wildlife Habitat Council, the world’s only voluntary sustainability standard designed for broad-based bio-diversity enhancement and conservation education on corporate landholdings.
