Huron Shores Hospice offers sessions to talk about grief
Grief can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to go through it alone.
“Let’s Talk About Grief” is a monthly, in-person drop-in support group for adults who are grieving the death of someone in their life.
Each session explores a different topic but the conversation flows based on the people in the room and what they’re going through. Whether you choose to share, listen, or just be present, you’ll be welcomed with compassion.
These small-group sessions are guided by trained grief facilitators and offer a safe, supportive space to connect, reflect, and feel less alone.
Dates and topics:
- Saturday, June 21 — What to Say/and What NOT to Say
- Saturday, July 12 — Making Memories (Facilitated by Diane)
- Saturday, Aug. 9 — Myths About Grief
Time: 1-3 p.m.
Location: Huron Shores Hospice Office, 24 King St. North, Tiverton, Ontario (Tiverton Park Manor)
No cost. No registration required — but an RSVP is always appreciated.
Please consider sharing this group with a friend, neighbour, or co-worker who might benefit. Sometimes just knowing the support is there can be a comfort.
