Corinne Hogeveen won $1,264 in this week’s Catch the Ace draw. She chose Envelope No. 41 which contained the Ten of Spades. Remember, you can purchase your Catch the Ace tickets in person at Kwik Way in Tiverton, Sleepers Bed Gallery, Jean's Family Restaurant, InStyle Hair Studio, and at the Legion Bar. Thanks to draw guest host this week, Norm Gauthier – excellent job! If you are following our Kincardine Legion - Catch the Ace Facebook page on Mondays to play ‘Russ in the Movies,’ this week’s answer was the movie, “A Fistful of Dollars.”

At the Saturday Meat Draw, Pierrette Laland was the only double-dipper, but other winners seem to have some last names in common, such as Dodman and Hervieux. Clark Pollock was the winner of the 50/50 draw and took home $118.50. Congratulations to all the winners.

Thanks to Mary Farrell and Marg Culleton for representing Branch 183 last Saturday at the Zone Washer Toss Competition. They didn’t advance, unfortunately, but had a great day.

Good luck to all our local athletes making the trip to Cambridge this Saturday for the Royal Canadian Legion District C, Crystal Taylor Memorial Track Meet!

Sign-up for the June 27 Trivia Night begins June 16, so be sure to register your teams at the Legion Bar. This month’s trivia is sponsored by the Kincardine Pride Committee, and it’s sure to be a fun one!

Be sure to check your calendars and make sure you have noted “Canada Day at the Legion,” July 1. You don’t want to miss this great day full of music, food and celebrating, with the band Hwy 19.
