Impaired driver arrested at RIDE check
(KINCARDINE, ON) - June 16, at 10:07 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check at Albert Road and Bruce County Road 15, in the Municipality of Kincardine.
A vehicle entered the area where the investigating officer spoke to the driver and detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing by a Drug Recognition Evaluator (DRE).
Tyler WOOLMAN, 21, of Sombra, was charged with Operation while impaired - blood drug concentration, CC 320.14(1)(c).
The accused is set to appear July 30, at the Walkerton Court of Justice to answer to the charge.
