Jen McKellar of Kincardine receives Bluewater District School Board Award of Excellence
Jen McKellar of Kincardine has received the Bluewater District School Board Award of Excellence.
The awards were presented at the board meeting, Tuesday, recognizing a group of distinguished community members for outstanding contributions to the local schools.
One individual from each of the eight families of schools, was honoured with this award.
Trustees took turns at the podium presenting the awards, which highlighted a range of exceptional volunteer efforts supporting breakfast and nutrition programs, school events, fund-raising, field trips, well-being initiatives, and classroom learning, among others.
Since recognizing every individual who contributes to the local schools is an impossible task, the Awards of Excellence program offers just a glimpse of the many wonderful volunteers in Bluewater District. Nominations of individuals may be submitted by any group or individual within the recipient’s family of schools through the school principal.
