Kincardine Legion Corner
Tim Crawford won $1,264 in the
Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 10 which did contain an Ace, but it was the Ace of Hearts. We move on and the jackpot continues to swell. If you are following our Kincardine Legion - Catch the Ace Facebook page on Mondays to play ‘Russ in the Movies’ with us, this week’s answer was the movie “National Lampoon’s Vacation.” Russ will be back for next week’s draw, and we, once again, extend our thanks to our guest host – Norm Gauthier. Great work, Norm! Be sure and get your tickets for next week, either in-person or on-line at
kincardineace.com.
At the
Saturday Meat Draw, Scott Richard was the only double-dipper. Charles Samms was the winner of the 50/50 draw and took home $118.50. Congratulations to all the winners.

In
national Legion news, this week the Legion’s former national executive director, Brad White, was presented the Legion’s highest honour, the Meritorious Service Medal, at a special gathering at national headquarters in Ottawa. The Legion’s grand president, Larry Murray, presented the award, surrounded by national headquarters staff. Both he and national executive director Randy Hayley spoke of Brad’s many years of service and accomplishments. Brad was honoured to receive the medal and recounted a few memories of his time working with colleagues at Legion House. He remains very busy with family and volunteer commitments, including with the Commissionaires. Well done Brad, congratulations.
