Toronto resident charged with arson in suspicious house fire at Amberley
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - A Toronto resident has been charged with arson, following investigation into a suspicious house fire at Amberley.
April 3, at 10:16 p.m., the South Bruce OPP, Lucknow Fire Department, and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire at a residential property along Bruce County Road 86, in Amberley. The fire was deemed to be suspicious in nature.
As a result of the investigation, the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit made an arrest, June 27.
Keith DIETRICH, 49, of the City of Toronto, has been charged with:
- Arson, CC 434
- Break, enter a place with intent to commit an indictable offence, CC 348(1)(a)
- Use, deals, acts on forged document, CC 368(1)(a)
- Theft of electricity or gas, CC 326(1)(a)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice, July 16, to answer to the charges.
