Dead Rowan Tree in Victoria Park, Kincardine, to be replaced
The Rowan Tree in Victoria Park, Kincardine (right), has died and the plan is to replace it.
Jayne Jagelewski, director of community services for the Municipality of Kincardine, said staff noticed the dead tree in early July, and the municipality plans to remove it and plant another tree.
She also noted that parts for the new water fountain have been ordered, but the delivery date is not known.
A proposal to re-imagine Victoria Park has been put on the back-burner for now.
