Kincardine teen charged, following single-vehicle collision
(KINCARDINE, ON) - July 18, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a suspicious person at an address along Concession 2 in the Municipality of Kincardine.
Police attended and discovered that a vehicle had been involved in a collision along Bruce County Road 20, and the driver then went to an address on Concession 2.
The investigating officer detected signs of impairment, and the driver was arrested and transported for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Alexander COLLEY AQUINO, 19, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80-plus, CC 320.14(1)(b)
- Dangerous Operation, CC 320.13(1)
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero, HTA 44.1(3)
The accused is set to appear Aug. 27, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
