Kingston driver charged after collision near Tiverton
(KINCARDINE, ON) - July 23, at approximately 6:40 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and Bruce County Road 20, near Tiverton.
Police attended with Bruce County Paramedic Services and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services, where they discovered a collision between two passenger vehicles which were blocking the intersection.
One of the involved drivers was transported to a local hospital with injuries. Northbound traffic on Highway 21 was closed for a short duration but has since been re-opened.
A 24-year-old motorist of Kingston has been charged with:
- Fail to yield to traffic on through highway, HTA 136(1)(b)
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance, CAIA 2(1)(a)
