Huron Shores Hospice offers more comfortable, accessible outdoor space
Thanks to a generous grant from Community Foundation Grey Bruce, Huron Shores Hospice has been able to make some thoughtful and lasting upgrades to the outdoor space connected to the hospice suite, located at Tiverton Park Manor. This space offers families moments of fresh air, quiet connection, and peace during deeply meaningful times.
A brand-new retractable awning now provides much-needed shade, helping guests and loved ones spend more time outdoors in comfort, whether they’re sharing a cup of coffee, taking in the view, or simply sitting together in silence.
Just as impactful is the addition of a new accessible, automatic door. This upgrade makes it significantly easier to move between the suite and the deck, especially for those using wheelchairs or walkers. It ensures a smoother, more dignified experience for guests and their families.
