Knox Kincardine donates $1,500 to Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey
Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine, has donated $1,500 to Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey.

The presentation was made Wednesday morning, by Linda Stanley to Danielle Bois, community relations and fund developer with the Women’s House.

Stanley said the donation is part of the church’s mission statement, to worship God and serve the community.

Bois said the funds will be used for programming in support of the women’s shelter and outreach counselling. Women’s House is also offering girls groups in Kincardine for pre-teens (aged eight to 12), dealing with such subjects as self-esteem, mental health, Internet safety and self-care.
