Back-to-School, trivia and golf tournament on Friday of Ripley Reunion
On the heels of a terrific opening ceremony, Thursday night (July 31), the Ripley Reunion continued with a golf tournament Friday morning (Aug. 1), followed by Back-to-School, Trivia for All Ages, and music throughout the evening.

The golf tournament welcomed a full slate at Ainsdale Golf Course.

Friday afternoon saw a good turn-out for the reunion of former teachers and students at Ripley-Huron Community School. One group of classmates graduated in 1971 and was thrilled to get together at the Ripley Reunion.

The Trivia event welcomed about a dozen players, including a media team, with the Yungblut family of John, Jessica and Tori, taking the win. Steve Travale was the quiz-master, and most of the questions were about Ripley, with the hardest at the end, giving the names of a family of children and asking who the parents were.

The Ripley-Huron Legion hosted a Burger Pub Night, and the evening music featured the health-care professionals band, “Local Anesthesia,” followed by a dance to “Bradley Hail and Little Rock.”

Stay tuned for more coverage of the Ripley Reunion on the Kincardine Record!
