South Bruce OPP report impaired drivers; and domestic violence incident
ARREST AT MacGREGOR POINT PROVINCIAL PARK
(SAUGEEN SHORES, ON) - Aug. 4, at 10:14 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a suspected impaired driver at MacGregor Point Provincial Park.
Police attended and located the vehicle. While speaking with the occupant, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Conor BROWN, 35, of the City of Toronto, was charged with Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80-plus, CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear Oct. 1, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charge.
TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST
(BROCKTON, ON) - Aug. 3, at 8:04 p.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP stopped to check a vehicle along Bruce County Road 10, outside of Elmwood, Municipality of Brockton.
While speaking with the driver, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Shane CRUICKSHANK, 39, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80-plus, CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear Sept. 10, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charge.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT RESULTS IN ARREST
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Aug. 1, at approximately 1:55 a.m., the South Bruce OPP responded to a traffic complaint along Queen Street, Kincardine.
While speaking with the driver, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Avard BARKER, 36, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a).
The accused is set to appear Sept. 10, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charge.

INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE RESULTS IN CHARGES
(BROCKTON, ON) - Aug. 4, the South Bruce OPP a matter involving intimate partners in the Municipality of Brockton.
Investigation determined that an individual attended a residence in Walkerton and drove into a parked vehicle after making death threats to the victim. The accused left the scene but was arrested at a later time.
As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old individual of Hanover has been charged with:
- Uttering threats to cause death, CC 264.1(1)(a)
- Mischief over $5000, CC 430(3)
- Dangerous Operation, CC 320.13(1)
- Operation while Impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
