Jeff Loney is new Bruce County director of government relations
Jeff Loney (above) is the new director of government relations for Bruce County.
As a member of the county’s senior leadership team, he will lead the efforts of government relations to support work achieving strategic goals across the organization. He will provide direct leadership to economic development, legislative services, strategic initiatives, and communications in this new role.
Loney joined Bruce County in 2022 as the manager of economic development. He brings more than 10 years of experience and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and government, as well as a Master’s Degree in public administration.
“It is my pleasure to offer congratulations to Jeff Loney on his appointment as the new director of government relations,” said warden, Luke Charbonneau. “His experience and leadership will help continue to foster innovation, growth, and relationship building for Bruce County.”
Loney will move into his new role, effective Sept 2.
He takes over from Aaron Stauch who became the new executive director of the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association, June 16.
