Kincardine photographer explores new worlds, thanks to Youth Connections
Ryan Cossey of Kincardine is part of the Youth Connections program at Community Living of Kincardine and District. This program works to support youth with developmental disabilities while working on important skills. Through volunteering, community exploration, skill-building activities and much more, the youth build life skills while having fun!

Ryan is interested in pursing photography so, together with Youth Connections, he has worked on taking steps to create this post and taking a meaningful picture to him. He is 19 with many interests. He likes his independence while biking around the town. He even did a co-op at Sobeys where he stocked shelves which he enjoyed. He is also very versed in music, and will make great recommendations! As for photography, he would like to photograph weddings, school pictures and landscapes.

“I took this picture of the breakwall at Tiny Tot Beach to represent my home,” says Ryan. “This picture makes me feel like Indiana Jones. Like I could explore new worlds, be curious and adventurous.

“To me, Kincardine is a relaxing place where you can listen to the birds and wind in the trees. I would also describe myself as fearless, strong, a proud son and brother, a gamer and a lover of comics!

“I hope you enjoy this picture and its meaning as much as I do!”
