Kincardine resident charged with impaired driving at RIDE check
(NORTH HURON, ON) - The Huron County OPP has charged a Kincardine resident with several criminal offences, following a traffic stop in a "Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere" (RIDE) check, last month, in the Township of North Huron.
Just after 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, Huron County OPP officers spoke to a vehicle driver at a RIDE check in the Hamlet of Whitechurch, North Huron. The driver was arrested for impaired operation, transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, and underwent testing with an OPP Drug Recognition Expert officer.
Adriana QUANN, 36, of Kincardine has been charged with:
- Operation while Impaired - Alcohol and Drugs
- Possession of a Controlled Substance - (two counts)
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused's driver's license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich, Aug. 25.
