​South Bruce OPP welcome new detachment manager

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) - Staff-sergeant Lynn McNichol (above) is the new detachment commander at the South Bruce OPP detachment.

She assumes responsibility of policing operations for Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss, Arran-Elderslie, South Bruce and Brockton.

McNichol joined the South Bruce OPP, June 2, arriving here from the Huron County OPP where she served with for 18 years, dedicating her career to public safety. She has held a wide variety of positions, including front-line constable, domestic violence investigator, youth crime officer, property crimes investigator, front-line sergeant, and operation support sergeant.

Now serving as staff-sergeant, she remains deeply committed to front-line policing and to supporting officers with the tools and resources they need to effectively serve their communities.

McNichol is pleased to be joining the South Bruce detachment and looks forward to building strong relationships while gaining a deeper understanding of the local communities.
