Ripley Food, Art and Craft Festival draws about 500 people; almost 60 vendors
More than 500 people turned out for the annual Ripley Food, Art and Craft Festival, held Saturday, at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.
The event featured almost 60 area vendors, artisans and crafters, showcasing their amazing products, including jewellery, spices and preserves, baked goods, knitted and crocheted work, meat products, oils, handcrafts, woodworking, and much more.
“Feedback from the community and vendors was very positive,” said Amy Irwin, Huron-Kinloss economic development officer. “We received lots of comments about the quality of the vendors, as well as the wide variety of items to choose from.”
Proceeds from the festival go toward the beautification of downtown Ripley.
