“Summer Collage” is next print in Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary fund-raiser
“Summer Collage” by A.J. Casson, is the next print in the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary's Art/Easel Program fund-raiser, on display at Sobeys Kincardine.
This is a limited edition print, featuring three of Casson’s prints: “Lake Rosseau,” “North Channel” and “Summer Morning Lake Baptiste.” Casson was a member of the Group of Seven and is best known for his depictions of landscapes, forests and farms in southern Ontario.
The second print on display at Sobeys, is entitled, “Summer Flowers,” by Katerina Mertikas, a celebrated Canadian artist. Her paintings were inspired by her children and are characterized by a refreshing innocence and a charming use of bright colours.
The print at the Kincardine Hospital is entitled, “Male and Female Cardinal,” by Robbie Craig.
The print at Rona Kincardine is entitled, “AC/DC – In Rock We Trust.”
The print at Boston Pizza in Kincardine is entitled, “Rush Clockwork.”
The starting bid for all the prints is $215, and they are on display until Thursday, Sept. 11.
